A special hour of activities run by the 2008 Friendship Caravan - Israeli teenage Scouts. Workshop will run from 4:00-5:00 pm. Ideal for 1st graders through High School ages. The Israeli Tzofim will break the kids out into age groups and conduct activities for each. High School students can join in and help run the activities and meet peers their age from Israel. This is a unique opportunity for our kids in San Diego to have some fun with these amazing Israelis and interact with them before their show. Then, stay in touch through Facebook with them into the school year.
Enjoy the Tzofim Friendship Caravan show afterwards as a community, the show is a lot of fun for all ages. Tzofim Friendship Caravan will perform from 5:30-7:00 pm for the community. The Friendship Caravan consists of three (3) traveling troupes, 5 male and 5 female 17-year-old Tzofim in each, who crisscross North America each summer as emissaries, sharing their lives in Israel through song, dance and story. Participants are chosen after undergoing an extensive auditioning and interviewing process, ensuring that above all, they are true representatives of Israeli culture and spirit. In 2007, the Tzofim Friendship Caravan reached 31 states, including 250 camps, community centers, churches, senior homes and schools, performing for an audience totaling 60,000 people.
