Celebrating Israel's 60th Anniversary and the 4th annual presentation of the Marla Bennett Friends Humanitarian Award of American Friends of Magen David Adom, the award will be presented to Jackie Gmach, the Program Director of the Lawrence Family JCC. Jackie will receive the award for her outstanding commitment to the San Diego Jewish community and Israel.
Brought back by popular demand are brother and sister Argentinean cantors, Marcelo and Mariana Gindlin who will celebrate Israel's 60th in song. Marcelo is currently the cantor at Malibu Jewish Center in Malibu, CA and Mariana is at Temple Sinai in Glendale, CA.They delighted the audience at last year's award presentation.
